Combo Chimbita is a quartet of first-generation New Yorkers whose backgrounds are Colombian and who grew up listening to heavy metal, psychedelic funk and soul. Their sound is self-described as "Tropical Futurism". Following on from 'Mujer Jaguar', the band have released a new single 'Todos Santos' alongside a powerful video directed by Iván Vernaza. At the very start of the track mellow synth pads swirl with a percussive beat and Spanish-sung vocals. The groove kicks in quickly with the addition of a suave bass line and skippy beat. Shrouded in tremolo, the electric guitar echoes the Colombian desert, and percussion gallops like a horse through the forest as the tracks grows in intensity.
